How do I start?

Transfers are when you move from chair to bed, chair to chair, chair to shower/tub, and chair to toilet.  The ability to transfer around your home can make the difference in living and staying in your home, and the need to move to assisted living/nursing home.

Lift and Transfer Systems are used when you cannot stand and sit independently.  The Lift System can pick you up or allow you to slide into a bed, tub/shower, or to the toilet.  Some of these systems require a caregiver, and some of these systems allow you to control your transfer and do it independently.

There are 3 types of handicap lifts for transfers including Floor Lift/Freestanding Lift, the tub/shower system for Bathroom LIfts, and Ceiling Lifts.

Ceiling Lifts are naturally out of the way and can reach any room. A ceiling mounted track can go through doorways, over beds, toilets, tubs, showers, and chairs to eliminate most of your transfers. Many home lifts go on the floor and are difficult to operate. When you install the lift on your ceiling it is much easier to use, will take you over the bed, chair, toilet, shower, recliner, or even your hot tub.

These ceiling lifts can be customized to install to any ceiling and to go anywhere in the house. You can lift yourself and travel anywhere your track is located, or you can use the ceiling lift with a caregiver and easily glide to your bed, your chair, your toilet, your tub or shower, your recliner, and anywhere else.
