Before passing after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer, Alex Trebek chose to spend his final day in the comfort of his home and with his wife, enjoying the view that he loved from the swing that he built in his back yard. By doing so, he exemplified what is means to live with independence in a home, and it also affirmed to us why we exist.
We, Accessible Systems, exist to:
- Provide that same level of hope, comfort and the possibility of peace of mind to anyone wishing to live happily in their home for as long as it makes sense.
- Find people who need our help to stay in the home that they love.
- Help people maintain or gain back their independence and dignity for as long as possible.
- Allow family caregivers to more easily care for their loved ones so they can spend more time just being together.
We pay tribute to Alex for the way he chose to live his life and for the message he leaves behind. We will strive to continue listening to our customers’ stories, putting together the pieces, and offering life-changing solutions that will help them create a network of care to support them fully. May Alex rest in peace.
